By the way. The best place for Skyrim would be in that D-drive and out of the Program Files (x86) folder. If you install Mod Organizer directly to Skyrim folder, it will automatically recognize itself as Skyrim Mod Organizer allowing you to install separate instances of MOs to games it supports. So Ive been struggling for a while now with FNIS and Mod Organizer not working together and starting to run out of ideas how to get it work. Also google is rather a dummy in this case. Which leads me to believe its not hard at all to get it to work. Problem seems to FNIS not using MOs virtual fil TanninOne's mod organizer 2 has been on beta 3 since June. This suggests to me that either it was stalled or that no really significant issues had mandated a new release. However, it looks like Bethesda's latest patch has broken it, so (if it's not a dead project) I imagine we should be seeing a new release soon. The preferred location for Mod Organizer is the game folder. It then automatically detects the game, if it is supporting it. If you place instance of MO to \SteamApps\common\Skyrim, then it will detect all content from your Skyrim\Data folder and present itself as Skyrim Mod Organizer.
